About Your Webmaster
Stacey Mayer was known for her artistic talent even in childhood, because of her drawings of the ponies and wildlife of Seattle's Woodland Park Zoo. Her art was greatly influenced by the Asian and Native American art collections at the Seattle Art Museum.
She actively participated in the local 4H community and spent her high school weekends at local horse shows, and riding her Anglo-Arab gelding over the hills with other horse-loving friends.
As a young mother, she showcased her artwork at the Fred Oldfield Western Art Shows, along with Gabe Gabel, Hulan Fleming, George Montgomery, and Fred Oldfield, himself.
Today, Stacey enjoys teaching art to young horse lovers and is a member of the Brazos Extension Equine Committee, serving where needed in the local equine community.
Understanding the Original Castings of Frederick Remington's Bronzes
As a artist who has personally created multiple lost wax bronze sculptures, I often encounter a common misunderstanding about what constitutes an "original" bronze sculpture.
This confusion is particularly prevalent in discussions about Frederick Remington’s works, where many assume that only a single piece can be considered the original. In reality, the concept of originality in bronze casting is more nuanced.

"Courage is Contagious" Vintage Art Poster Shows in Switzerland!
"Courage is Contagious" transcends the boundaries of art, serving as a powerful tribute to resilience, determination, and the indomitable spirit of horses. Created by Stacey Mayer, this compelling poster merges her deep passion for equine beauty with a universal message: courage inspires, unites, and transcends boundaries.
The piece features a powerful yet Arabian graceful horse, its mane flowing like a banner in the wind, evoking strength and freedom. The bold composition and rich, dynamic colors draw the viewer into the heart of the action, while the horse’s resolute gaze serves as a reminder that courage begins within. Mayer’s intricate brushwork captures the muscle and motion of the animal, making it feel alive and commanding—a testament to her deep understanding of equine anatomy and spirit.
From Ranch Hand to Renowned Western Artist: Cheryl Harley-Volz
A true cowgirl at heart, Cheryl pours her passion for the Western way of life into her art, capturing the essence of the cowboys she admires and the world she so deeply understands.
Talent Ignited by Colorado
Born with a spirit as wild as the West, Cheryl's passion for cowboy life blossomed during childhood summers spent on her mother's Colorado ranches. Cantering across Cripple Creek and Victor on horseback, she learned cattle work, brook trout fishing, and explored historic gold mines - experiences that continue to inspire her art today.
The Artistic Journey of Ezra Iranzi: From Kigali to Ecole d'art de Nyundo

Ezra Iranzi, born in 2003 in Rwanda, discovered his passion for art amidst the vibrant streets of Kigali.
Choosing Art Over Electronics
While still a student, Iranzi chose to pursue an art career and was glad to receive unwavering support from his loved ones.
